How do you reset a Softub? ›

With the plug connected to the power supply and with the unit operating, push the test button. The unit should stop operating. Push the reset button. The unit should now operate normally.

"P" stands for the initial pause the unit needs before it reads out the water temperature. It is an indication that the water near the temperature sensors must be purged to get an accurate reading of the water temperature.

Overnight Mode: Overnight Mode runs on a 12 hour cycle. When it is first activated the tub will go into standby for the following 12 hour period. Then it will operate as normal for the next 12 hours. For example, if you don't want the tub to run between 8 pm and 8 am, then you would activate Overnight Mode at 8 pm.

We recommend that you change the water in your Softub at least once every three to four months. This is a simple task, particularly with the use of a sump pump. Be sure to unplug your spa before draining it!

In a climate with an average 65 degrees temperature, the typical Softub requires only 2-4 kW hours of electricity per day to stay at 102 degrees and always ready for use.

By default filter modes are 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening, the rest of the time the hot tub will use the insulation to keep the spa warm and retain heat. Economy is a good setting for those who use the hot tub daily.

However, Softub hot tubs offer incredible value for money and they continue to help you save every time your electricity bill comes through. It requires only 4 kW hours of electricity per day to maintain a Softub at 102 degrees. At an average rate of 8 cents per kw hour, this equates to just 32 cents a day.

When not in use, you can lower the temperature of your inflatable hot tub to around 80°F (27°C) to save energy while still maintaining the water's cleanliness. However, during colder periods, it's recommended to keep the temperature above 50°F (10°C) to prevent freezing and potential damage to the hot tub components.

Can I Turn Off My Hot Tub at Night? Our advice is no. Actually, it's really, please no, don't do this. Your hot tub was made to run most efficiently at one set temperature.

Turn the spa off and pull the yellow rip cord cable under the heater unit. Press reset on the RCD unit to turn spa back on. Press the test function on the RCD unit, making sure the spa turns off. Then press Reset to turn spa on.

Your spa is equipped with a high limit safety switch that will automatically shut down the spa in the unlikely event of an overheat situation. The Hi Limit reset button is located on the side of the control box.
